You'll lead workstreams, develop high-performing teams, build trusted client relationships, and help organisations successfully adopt new technologies, processes and ways of working.
As our Life Sciences team continues to grow, we are looking to hire an experienced Manager specialising in Change Management to support the delivery of high-impact transformation programmes across pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device organisations.
The opportunity
As a Manager at Gate One, you will play a key role in delivering complex transformation programmes for Life Sciences clients.
Working alongside senior client stakeholders and Gate One leaders, you will help clients realise value from technology, data, AI and business transformation investments through effective change management and adoption strategies.
You will lead key workstreams and project teams, ensuring change activities are practical, measurable and aligned to business outcomes.
Typical engagements may include enterprise-wide technology transformations, AI adoption, operating model change, commercial transformation, R&D transformation, organisational redesign and capability-building programmes.
Alongside client delivery, you will contribute to business development activities, help develop our Life Sciences Change Management capability, and support the growth and development of junior consultants.

- Design and deliver change strategies covering stakeholder engagement, communications, business readiness, training, capability building and adoption measurement.
- Support technology-enabled change initiatives involving digital platforms, CRM systems, AI solutions, data and analytics tools, automation and enterprise technologies.
- Help clients navigate organisational, cultural and behavioural barriers to adoption, ensuring transformation investments translate into measurable business value.
- Apply Life Sciences expertise to shape change approaches that reflect regulatory requirements, complex governance structures and cross-functional operating models.
- Develop practical solutions to complex business challenges, translating analysis into clear recommendations and implementation plans.
- Manage project teams and workstreams, ensuring high-quality delivery, strong collaboration and successful outcomes.
- Build trusted client relationships

- Contribute to business growth

- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships through excellent delivery and proactive relationship management.
- Develop people and strengthen capability
- Coach and develop consultants and analysts, supporting their development through project leadership and feedback.
- Contribute to the development of Gate One's Change Management and Life Sciences capabilities, including methods, tools, assets and credentials.
- Play an active role in recruitment, internal initiatives and the continued growth of our Life Sciences practice.
About you
You will have experience within management consulting environments and be operating at Manager level, with a strong track record of delivering complex change and transformation programmes.
You will also bring
- Approximately 6+years of relevant consulting, transformation or change management experience.
- Experience delivering change management programmes within the Life Sciences sector, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices or consumer health.
- Strong understanding of organisational change, stakeholder engagement, business readiness, communications, training and adoption approaches.
- Understanding of the regulatory, organisational and operational complexities associated with Life Sciences organisations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complexity into practical recommendations.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing project teams and delivering high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
