Consulting Director Insurance

As Gate One continues to grow, we are now seeking a Client Director to join our Insurance sector team. You will build business relationships with both existing accounts and potential new clients, scoping, shaping, and closing opportunities to win new business. You will also lead Gate One client teams to deliver complex transformation programmes.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Client Director , you will be a member of the senior leadership team, contributing to business strategy and planning.

Candidate Profile

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly experienced transformation consultant with deep expertise in the Insurance sector and a strong track record of business development success to take a leadership role within Gate One. We expect you to demonstrate:

1. Extensive experience in selling, leading, and delivering consulting engagements in the Insurance sector. Broader experience within retail banking is a plus but not essential.
2. A proven track record in business and digital transformation, ideally with experience from an established management consulting firm.
3. A strong personal network within the Insurance sector.
4. The desire to work within an entrepreneurial, collaborative, high-performing environment.
5. Dedication to mentoring and leading high-performing teams.

• Promoting four Client Directors to Partner between Jan \’23–Jan \’24, including three women.
• James Cumberland, who joined as a Senior Consultant in 2015, established our NYC office in 2022, and was promoted to Client Director.
• Grace Blundell, leading our Health and Social Care capability, joined as a Senior Consultant in Jan 2018 and became a Client Director within five years.
• Rob Bradshaw returned from family leave in early 2023, co-led the internal EVP programme, and helped design gender-neutral family policies.
• Spiro Comitis completed a course at the University of Cambridge\’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
