General Assistant - Stores & Warehouse

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Your day may involve preparing food tray sets and conduction temperature and quality checks.
- Other duties include checking stock and flight trollies, unloading incoming trollies from flights in preparation for cleaning.
- General washing, sorting, assembling and packing of airport equipment. Stripping airlines trollies and delivering to relevant departments.
- Sealing flight canisters, trolleys and recording numbers.
- Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is desirable but not essential. You must be able to work shifts and be keen to learn. In addition to job - related training, you will develop your skills in team work, time management, multi-tasking, communication and attention to detail.
SPECIFIC DUTIES BY DEPARTMENT
STORES/WAREHOUSE
- To load / off-load lorries, stack shelves and replenish equipment/food items
- From specification, accurately palletize shipments.
- Conduct quality, and product date checks
- Daily stock count of the list
- Stock rotation
- Clean the area
Shifts - 4 on 4 off - 6AM - 17:15PM
Work Experience
Good standard of English both written and verbal
Working knowledge of Basic Hygiene
Ideally some experience in a production/manufacturing/stores environment
Experience of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Skills & Knowledge
Good understanding of English both reading and writing
