Role Description
This is a full‑time, field‑based Area Coach role covering a patch of KFC restaurants across the Shrewsbury area and surrounding region. As Area Coach you will lead and coach a group of Restaurant General Managers to deliver outstanding results across People, Customer, Sales and Profit. You will bring structure and calm to a busy patch, develop your GMs to be brilliant in their own right, and build a culture worth following. This is very much a coaching and leadership role, we want someone who grows their people rather than doing it for them.
Day to day you will coach and challenge your RGMs to hit their targets, conduct regular restaurant visits and audits, identify commercial opportunities across your patch, support recruitment and succession planning, and work closely with the wider operations and people teams to drive performance and deliver on our growth ambitions.
What we are looking for
- Proven multi‑site leadership experience in QSR, hospitality or big box retail with a strong track record of operational and financial delivery
- A natural coach who develops people and builds high performing teams rather than stepping in and doing it themselves
- Commercially sharp with experience managing P&L, interpreting data and driving continuous improvement across a patch
- Solid understanding of food safety, health and safety and brand compliance standards
- Strong communicator who can influence at all levels and hold people to account fairly and consistently
- Comfortable with regular travel across the patch and flexibility around trading hours
- Familiarity with KFC or other franchise brands is an advantage
