The Role As an HGV Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs on customer heavy goods vehicles under our third-party maintenance contracts. You'll work to agreed service level agreements (SLAs) while maintaining DVSA and Operator Licence compliance. Key Responsibilities Service, inspect and repair HGVs under maintenance contracts. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. Carry out Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs), pre-MOT inspections and defect rectification. Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately and on time. Deliver reactive maintenance and breakdown support across customer sites when required. Ensure all work meets DVSA regulations and Operator Licence standards. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Care for company tools, equipment and customer vehicles.
