We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team carrying out servicing, repairs, and installations on a wide range of systems and appliances. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients receive the highest quality of service whilst also maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out diagnostics, fault-finding, repairs and installations on gas systems and appliances.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on gas systems and appliances.
  • Conduct routine safety checks, gas leak detection, preventative maintenance, and ensure full compliance with gas safety regulations.
  • Light commercial installations to replace faulty parts e.g. pumps, water heaters, radiators.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure project efficiency.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to clients on energy efficiency and system optimization.
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work completed.

Qualifications:

  • ACS CODNCO1 ICPN1, CIGA1.
  • Relevant qualifications in gas engineering (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ).
  • Strong understanding of heating system controls and diagnostics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.

Summary: As a Commercial Gas Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of commercial gas systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and high-quality customer service. On occasion, candidates will be required to work remotely, i.e. Newcastle; overnight stay and food allowance will be provided if required.
