At Orion Smart Metering, we're proud to work with leading energy suppliers across the UK. We're now expanding our team and are looking for experienced Dual Fuel Engineers to install meters in domestic properties as part of our growing national contracts.
The Role
- As a Dual Fuel Engineer with Orion, you'll enjoy a stable, full-time position with excellent pay, bonuses, and benefits.
- Install smart meters safely and efficiently in domestic properties.
- 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).
- Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided.
- Umbrella Day Rate Option 1: Paid via Umbrella PAYE.
- Umbrella Day Rate Option 2: Paid via Umbrella PAYE; Engineer provides own van & fuel; Tools & uniform provided.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (1-hour lunch).
- Optional weekend work available once weekly targets are met.
Bonus Breakdown
- KPI Bonus £150 per month.
- Attendance Bonus £150 per month; awarded for full attendance and no sick days in a calendar month (pro-rated for holiday taken).
Saturday work available (paid at day rate).
Requirements
- Diploma or qualification in Smart Meter Engineering.
- Valid driving licence.
- Clean DBS check (recent certificate within 3 months preferred).
- Driving licence, passport, gas certificates, MOCOPA, qualification/diploma, NI number, references, and DBS.
