At Orion Smart Metering, we are proud to work with some of the UK's biggest energy and metering companies. As we continue to grow our national contracts, we are looking for experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join our expanding team.
The Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers need to live in any of the following postcodes:
- Salary rising to £45,000 per annum after completion of 3 month probation.
- ~33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
- Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided
Guaranteed Day Rate Options:
- Option 1: Paid via Umbrella PAYE - Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided
- Option 2: Paid via Umbrella PAYE - Engineer provides own van & fuel - Tools & uniform provided
Bonus Breakdown:
- KPI Bonus £150 per month
- Attendance Bonus £150 per month
- Pro-rated for holidays
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (1-hour lunch)
- Optional weekend work available once weekly targets are met
- 1 week in 4 rota - Saturday work available (paid at day rate)
As a Dual Fuel Engineer with Orion, you will benefit from a stable role with strong earning potential and a supportive team.
Responsibilities:
- Install smart meters safely and efficiently in domestic properties
Requirements:
- Smart Meter Engineering qualification or diploma
- Full UK driving licence
- Clean DBS check (recent within 3 months preferred)
- Driving licence, passport, gas certificates, MOCOPA, qualifications, NI number, references, and DBS.
Attend a technical interview (gas & electric scenarios).
