Job Description We at Orion are recruiting experienced Dual Fuel Smart Metering Engineers to join our expanding metering workforce, installing smart meters in domestic properties across the region. This is a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential, structured training, and multiple engagement routes to suit your preferred way of working. \PAYE - Employed Role \n \n £42,000 per annum. \n Van & fuel card provided. \n 33 days holiday (25 8 bank holidays). \n Pension (3% employer / 5% employee). \n Recommend-a-friend bonus up to £500. \n Weekly pay (2 weeks in arrears). \Umbrella - PAYE via Umbrella Company \n Option A - Van Provided \n \n £200 per day. \n Van & fuel card supplied. \n \n Option B - Use Own Van \n \n £275 per day. \n Paid weekly (2 weeks in arrears). \CIS - Self-Employed (via approved Umbrella) \n \n £240 per day. \n Must supply own van & fuel. \n Option to hire a van via Orion (£200/week incl. n Paid weekly (2 weeks in arrears). \n \n Call-Out Requirements (All Options) \n \n 1 week in 4 \n £400 flat rate per week. \n Shift would be. Mon-Fri: 11am-8pm. \n Jobs received during shift must be completed. \n \n Induction & Training (All Options) \n 3-week structured programme: \n \n Week 1: Mon-Tue at training centre remote learning \n Week 2: Local mentoring \n Week 3: Dual Fuel Assessment at the training centre \n \n Additional details: \n \n Hotel provided if travelling 1hr. \n Van collection (if applicable) from Aylesbury on the Friday before induction. \n You will be required to take a drug and alcohol test that will affect your ongoing employment. \n Hours: 8am-5pm (Mon-Fri) 1hr lunch \n When on call: 11am-8pm \n Minimum 4 completed jobs per day \n \n What We Provide \n (Varies slightly by package) \n \n Van (if applicable) \n Fuel card (if applicable) \n Phone \n Full tool kit \n Uniform & PPE \n Stock delivered to local ByBox/Pelipod \n \n ?
