We at Orion are recruiting experienced Dual Fuel Smart Metering Engineers to join our expanding metering workforce, installing smart meters in domestic properties across the region. This is a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential, structured training, and multiple engagement routes to suit your preferred way of working.

  • PAYE Employed Role
  • Van & fuel card provided
  • 33 days holiday (25 + 8 bank holidays)
  • Pension (3% employer / 5% employee)
  • Recommend-a-friend bonus up to £500
  • Weekly pay (2 weeks in arrears)

Umbrella PAYE via Umbrella Company

  • Option A: Van Provided
  • Van & fuel card supplied
  • Option B: Use Own Van
  • Paid weekly (2 weeks in arrears)
  • CIS Self-Employed (via approved Umbrella)
  • Must supply own van & fuel
  • Option to hire a van via Orion (£200/week incl.)
  • 400 flat rate per week

Shift would be. Jobs received during shift must be completed.

Induction & Training (All Options)

  • Week 1: Mon-Tue at training centre remote learning
  • Local mentoring
  • Week 3: Dual Fuel Assessment at the training centre
  • Hotel provided if travelling 1hr
  • Van collection (if applicable) from Aylesbury on the Friday before induction

You will be required to take a drug and alcohol test that will affect your ongoing employment.

Van (if applicable), Phone, Stock delivered to local ByBox/Pelipod.
