We are looking for an experienced and motivated *Gas & Heating Engineer* to join our team, carrying out domestic heating work on behalf of a domestic home insurance provider.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem-solving and delivering excellent customer service.
*The Role*
Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out domestic boiler servicing, repairs and fault finding.
* Diagnosing and resolving central heating and hot water issues.
* Attending customers' homes to investigate and repair heating faults.
* Completing work in accordance with current gas safety regulations and industry standards.
* Providing excellent customer service and communicating professionally with customers.
* Completing job reports, safety documentation and other required paperwork accurately, using tablet and apps
* Managing appointments efficiently and working independently to deliver a high standard of workmanship.
* Representing the company professionally at all times.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
* *A minimum of 3 years' experience* as a Gas & Heating Engineer.
* Full, up-to-date ACS gas qualifications.
* A full, valid UK driving licence.
* Experience working with domestic gas appliances and central heating systems.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* The ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
* F-Gas qualification.
* Experience installing, servicing and repairing air conditioning systems.
* Experience working for domestic insurance providers or in a reactive maintenance environment.
* Additional plumbing and heating experience.
