Garton Jones Real Estate is seeking a Senior Property Manager to join our flagship Chelsea Bridge Wharf office. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced individual to play a key role within our growing property management department and support the continued success of one of the most active residential portfolios in central London.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Liaising with Landlords and Tenants: Maintain clear, professional and proactive communication with landlords and tenants, ensuring a high level of service at all times.
- Working with the Head of Property Management: Attend regular meetings to review portfolio performance, resolve issues and ensure smooth day to day operations.
- Serving Required Notices: Ensure all legal notices are prepared and served accurately and in line with current legislation.
- Property Inspections: Carry out regular property inspections and ensure properties are maintained to the required standard.
- Deposit Returns: Manage the deposit return process in line with current regulations, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.
- Rental Arrears: Proactively manage and chase arrears, working closely with tenants and landlords to resolve issues quickly.
- Maintenance Management: Oversee maintenance issues from start to finish, instructing contractors and ensuring works are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 4 years experience as a Property Manager.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a busy portfolio.
- Confident communicator with the ability to handle both landlords and tenants professionally.
- A team player who contributes positively to the wider office environment.
- Experience using Reapit or similar property management systems preferred.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
- Proactive with a strong problem solving mindset.
