Garton Jones Real Estate is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our flagship Chelsea Bridge Wharf office. We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our growing property management department and contribute to our continued success in one of London's most exciting residential areas.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with Landlords and Tenants: Maintain clear and professional communication with both landlords and tenants to address their needs and concerns.
  • Meeting with the Head of Property Management: Regularly discuss property management issues and updates to ensure smooth operations.
  • Serving Required Notices: Ensure all legal notices are served accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they are well-maintained and meet all regulatory standards.
  • Dealing with Deposit Returns: Manage the process of deposit returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and fairness to all parties.
  • Chasing Rental Arrears: Proactively follow up on late payments and work to resolve any issues related to rental arrears.
  • Handling Maintenance Issues: Coordinate and oversee property maintenance to ensure issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Experience and Skills:

  • Previous Experience: Proven experience as a Property Manager is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and to a high standard.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems: Familiarity with the property management system "Reapit" is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
