This Program Director will develop content, programs, and experiences for several major Gartner Technology conferences, delivering "must-attend" events for the roles and markets they serve.

Responsibilities:

  • Own one or more conferences and drive growth, profitability, and customer retention through strategically defined event strategies.
  • Create audience-driven conference agendas that address market needs in close partnership with Gartner Research chairs.
  • Collaborate with Gartner Research.

Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred.
  • 8-12+ years of experience in conference management or content-rich program planning/creation.
  • Experience managing large, complex, multi-day/multi-track conferences.
  • Proven ability to shape conference content strategy, agenda development, and speaker management.
  • Experience driving or supporting audience acquisition and sponsorship sales.
  • Track record of developing and executing growth strategies and identifying market opportunities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to influence.
  • Global or multinational experience preferred.
  • Strong multi-project management, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with AI, data, and analytics.
  • Willingness to travel moderately, including international travel.
  • Ability to engage effectively with C-level executives.
