This role requires expertise in server virtualization, server modernization, containers, hyper-converged infrastructure, distributed hybrid infrastructure, server hardware, and disaster recovery.

What You Will Do

  • Research, analyze, and forecast market trends to provide actionable insights to end-user organizations and vendors.
  • Stay ahead of developments across core and adjacent emerging technology areas.
  • Collaboratively write and publish evidence-based research and analysis.
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly and authoritatively to senior-level executives.
  • Present at conferences as an industry expert.
  • Partner with sales and service teams to support account growth, retention, and engagement.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 12+ years of industry experience with a focus on core data center technologies in leading-edge organizations.
  • Experience presenting technology and business adoption scenarios to senior IT leaders.
  • Deep expertise in one or more of the following: hybrid & multi-cloud infrastructure, server virtualization technologies, disaster recovery strategy.
  • Knowledge of major and emerging vendors with the potential to disrupt the market.
  • Technical understanding of supercomputing approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $172,000–$202,500 USD. In addition to base salary, employees may participate in an annual bonus plan or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Benefits include generous PTO, a 401(k) match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and additional market-leading programs.
