Key Responsibilities
- Create innovative, thought‑provoking “must‑have” insights content.
- Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership and offer actionable approaches to client needs that accelerate client action.
- Conduct in‑depth analysis to identify root causes of client barriers and reframe thinking to drive strategy.
- Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing insights positions across a team of analysts.
- Present provocative, independent insights to Gartner leaders to evolve research agendas.
- Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts to provide actionable insights.
- Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice via virtual or face‑to‑face interactions.
- Create and deliver high‑value presentation materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
- Support BTI and Sales by serving as voice of the market and driving engagement with clients.
- Provide high‑quality, timely content peer review.
- Build credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner insights, methodology, and strategy.
- Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions with peers.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
- 12+ years’ experience in a finance function, ideally with 2+ years of recent AI experience.
- Career exposure in strategic finance or special projects with the CFO, across finance processes, data sources, and technologies.
- Provocative and forward‑looking perspectives for CFOs on how AI and emerging technology trends reshape finance functions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate ambiguity into clear narratives, stories, and teachings that spark CFO action.
- Demonstrated executive presence and credibility with executives and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high‑quality deliverables.
- Demonstrated excellence in research and writing.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond to questions.
- Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data; ability to apply patterns and frameworks and defend conclusions.
