The Global Tech Sales division of Gartner supports IT leaders at CâSuite level to drive positive change, providing objective research & expertise that helps clients make quicker decisions and safeguard investments.
Our Public Sector sales division delivers research insights and guidance to CIOs and CTOs within the public sector, including government, security & defence, tax, healthcare and housing. This role focuses on healthcare and local government accounts in Wales.
As a Senior Account Executive you will partner with CIOs/CTOs of leading enterprises, helping them achieve missionâcritical priorities and grow their business. The role is fieldâbased and responsible for client retention and expansion, introducing new products and services, and consulting with Câlevel executives to develop enterpriseâwide strategies.
What you'll do:
- Manage accounts to increase customer satisfaction and drive retention and growth.
- Maintain a quota responsibility of $800,000+ contract value in a territory of major client accounts.
- Master Gartner's sales methodology and execute it consistently.
- Plan accounts and manage the territory effectively.
- Forecast accuracy monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Stay current on competitive knowledge and maintain focus.
- Demonstrate inâdepth knowledge of Gartner's products and services.
What you'll bring to the team:
- 8â15 years of proven consultative sales experience, preferably in highâtechnology services, software or consultative environments.
- Strong intellect, drive, executive presence and sales acumen.
- Proven ability to build excellent Câlevel client relationships in large enterprise organisations.
- Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree desired.
