What makes Gartner a GREAT fit for you? When you join Gartner, Executive Technology Services, you'll set your career on track for outstanding achievement with a company that knows no limits. We're the leader in our industry, achieving double‐digit growth by helping clients make the right decisions with business and technology insights they can't find anywhere else. Gartner Executive Partners serve as trusted advisors to our members (clients) who are CIOs/CTOs from Global Fortune 1000 organizations and government agencies.

Our Associates enjoy a collaborative work environment, exceptional career development and unlimited growth potential. If you like working with a generous, supportive, high‐performing team, Gartner is where you want to be.

About this role: Act as a mentor, content‐provider and business advisor for the client members. You must be a proficient coach for CTO/I&O leaders as well as participate in the following phases of the member lifecycle: service kick‐off, delivery, and renewal all focused on global organizations with significant scale and complexity. You will manage a portfolio of 25‐30 clients, typically Infrastructure & Operations leaders reporting to CIOs, from global Fortune 500 organizations.

As their Senior Executive Partner you will be delivering value through regular briefings, a mix of on‐site and virtual workshops, roundtables, webinars and by attending relevant Gartner events. As someone who has previously been in their shoes before, you will use your knowledge and expertise, along with additional Gartner resources and research, to coach and mentor your clients on critical initiatives and obstacles for today and tomorrow specifically within the I&O space.

Collaboration is key: You will work closely with several internal Gartner teams to ensure value is delivered; these can include Sales teams, Analysts, Client Managers, and your peers across other EITL domains. This role is a client‐facing position that requires a high level of Executive presence and ability to build trust and deliver value.

Responsible for member retention and for contributing toward growth in the region through direct support of Gartner Sales in prospect cultivation, account plan development and value demonstration activities. This is a predominantly home‐based role, where you will operate as an individual contributor managing your own desk and other administrative tasks; you will be delivering value to your client portfolio in a virtual manner.

What you will need: 15+ years of C‐level and/or senior IT executive experience leading the Infrastructure & Operations domain within a Fortune 500 organization. Preferably, additional experience successfully demonstrated consulting and coaching skills at the executive level. In addition to I&O experience and skills, we're seeking AI, automation, product‐oriented experience and leadership skills.

  • AI: Has created, directed, and/or led efforts to implement and scale AI within I&O, such as machine learning, chatbots, predictive analytics, etc.
  • Automation: Has created, directed, and/or led efforts to implement and scale automation such as robotic process automation, service‐catalogs with automated I&O product/service delivery/fulfilment, self‐healing infrastructure, automated pipeline engineering, etc.
  • Product‐oriented/ product‐centric I&O: Has created, directed, and/or led efforts to implement I&O operating models, organization designs, tooling, and business solutions that leverage automated, service‐catalog‐driven, self‐service IT solutions for application/platform teams and employees.

Minimum bachelor's degree required.

What you will get: Competitive salary, generous paid time off policy, charity match program, medical, dental & vision plans, parental leave, employee assistance program (EAP), 401K and more. Collaborative, team‐oriented culture that embraces diversity. Professional development and unlimited growth opportunities.
