Executive Partner – Member Acquisition
Gartner for Chief Financial Officers (GCFO) is growing rapidly and is looking to hire an Executive Partner focused on Member Acquisition.

Member Acquisition Role
This role is an opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to shape and manage the prospect pipeline, partner with sales and delivery teams, and demonstrate the value of GCFO services to prospective CFOs and senior finance leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with CFOs from leading companies and bring Gartner insights to life.
- Work with Sales & Service Delivery teams to understand mission‑critical priorities and how GCFO can support them.
- Coach Sales to close and qualify new and existing clients, communicating the true value proposition through client value stories.
- Participate in strategic account planning to identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct Proof of Concept calls and prepare Service Kick‑Offs for transitioning clients to Service Delivery.
- Operate comfortably in a Sales‑led environment, maintaining regular client engagement.
- Collaborate with Finance Sales, Product Marketing, and Research teams on GCFO go‑to‑market strategy.
- Provide POC reporting, conversion rates, and continuous improvement insights.
Qualifications
- 20+ years in senior finance management, including 5+ years as a CFO or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of finance transformation: strategy, organizational design, process and digitization, ERP, data governance, talent & skills, board leadership, CFO impact, cost & capital management, data & analytics.
- Track record of leading finance transformation initiatives across diverse industries and ownership structures.
- Experience in Fortune 500 settings is highly valued.
- Experience in a Sales‑focused role, preferably consulting, with strong understanding of sales metrics.
- History of coaching, presenting, and collaborating at senior level (C‑level preferable). Excellent interpersonal skills with reflective listening.
- Strong influence, collaboration, and time/project management abilities.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred.
