This Talent Sourcer focuses on proactively identifying, engaging, and evaluating a pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs across Global Business Recruiting supporting Executive Services, BTI, and Consulting. Sourcing strategies include mining online candidate databases, social media sites such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean keyword searching, and analyzing market data to identify top talent.

What you’ll do:

  • Source potential and passive candidates through direct applicant channels, Gartner’s CRM, referrals, professional social media sites, extensive lead generation research and relationship building.
  • Generate candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging by clearly articulating the Gartner value proposition.
  • Utilize programmatic approach to engage talent for open roles and building pipeline (campaign management).
  • Prequalify potential candidates to determine their qualifications through phone interviewing, trait assessments, and behavioral-based interviewing.
  • Develop and cultivate a pipeline of talent for current role and future hiring needs.
  • Build strong trust‑based value add relationships with recruiters and hiring managers to understand business needs and alignment strategy.
  • Conduct market mapping and market intelligence.
  • Continually expand network through leveraging user groups, blogs, and networking events.

What you’ll need:

  • 1-3 years Recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience required.
  • Strong research and candidate generation skills.
  • Business Development and/or Sales experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with current direct sourcing techniques and ability to remain current with developing new processes and strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
