About this role: The Sales Business Analyst serves as a strategic partner to senior sales leaders, delivering advanced data-driven insights and recommendations that support GBS sales strategy and priorities. This role focuses on executive reporting, translating complex data into actionable guidance and driving business decisions. The SBA plays a key part in developing and implementing sales analytics and data strategy to enhance analytical capabilities and deliver impactful insights for the business.

What you'll do:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior sales leaders, providing actionable analytics and insights to drive sales productivity, growth and retention across all GBS Sales Regions.
  • Develop, implement and enhance scalable sales analytics, data infrastructure and user-friendly reporting to support business priorities and decision making.
  • Communicate timely, accurate and visually compelling analytics, highlighting trends in leading and lagging indicators to inform business actions.
  • Manage month- and quarter-end sales processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of business transactions.
  • Lead best practice sharing and foster collaboration across the global GBS SBA team and sales regions.
  • Conduct ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses, develop new analytical models and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support adoption and optimization of sales tools and processes, educating leaders and collecting feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Track and report on core business metrics, supporting GBS financial goals and driving consistency in reporting and productivity efforts.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholders to support analytical and operational excellence.
  • Maintain flexibility and responsiveness to evolving business needs in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, Masters or advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience preferred in data analytics and visualization, business intelligence, or analytical consulting.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Salesforce, Excel, MS Power Apps Suite, Teams, PPT comfortable speaking to large groups).
  • Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to details, accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have ability to stay ahead in a constantly changing environment.
