We seek sales associates to join our Global Business Sales or Global Technology Sales teams. You will be part of a fast-paced, dynamic team providing high-level sales support to engage C-level executives at potential new client organizations. You will apply strategic thinking and relationship-building to help executives understand how Gartner research and expertise can address their initiatives and support Gartner’s growth through new client development. Upon joining Gartner, you will be aligned to one of two pathways—Account Management (AMX) or Business Development (BDX)—and work with one or more Sales Executives. After successful completion of the Sales Development Program, you will have the opportunity to transition into a quota-bearing role on one of our Sales teams.
What You Will Do
- Partner with Sales Executives to create customized strategic plans for sales territories to support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Successfully participate in and complete the Sales Development Program training curriculum within 15 months.
- Generate leads by prospecting potential clients, identify opportunities with existing clients, and qualify inbound leads.
- Research prospective and existing companies, C-level executives, business trends, and competitive intelligence to tailor outreach and secure meetings.
- Proactively schedule calls with prospects and clients via phone, email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
- Educate prospects on Gartner’s products and services and support pipeline progression through follow-up actions in collaboration with Sales Executives.
