What you’ll do as an Account Executive:
- Play a key role in Gartner’s growth with access to C‑level executives worldwide.
- Hybrid role focused on renewal and retention of clients as well as generating new revenue.
- Partner with existing clients and leverage internal subject‑matter experts to address critical priorities.
- Identify opportunities for account retention and growth through contract expansion and new services/products.
- Manage 10–20 large enterprise accounts with $1B+ in annual revenue.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to drive high‑value engagement with seat‑holders.
- Execute client meetings to review ROI, align priorities, and ensure timely renewal of services.
- Drive outbound activity to generate a consistent volume of new opportunities.
- Partner with C‑level executives to develop and implement enterprise‑wide strategies.
- Guide customer satisfaction, account retention, and growth by collaborating with clients and internal teams.
- Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Contribute best practices and collaborate positively within the team.
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales environments.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling to and/or influencing C‑level executives.
- Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sales process.
- Willingness to conduct EMEA‑wide travel.
Career Path:
