Overview
Deal Hub serves as the single point of contact for Sales to provide timely, responsive high‑quality feedback and guidance on all things deal‑related, from opportunity to contract signature. The Associates’ primary responsibility is to increase Sales efficiency by significantly reducing the time Sales spends on developing and closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales to understand client requirements, evaluate requests against standards, and help Sales leverage best practices to maximize retention and grow the business.
- Prioritize workflow and manage request volumes to maximize efficiency and drive urgency of deals.
- Build trust‑based relationships with Sales to drive adoption of best practices in support of Gartner’s mission‑critical priorities.
- Partner with Sales to understand business context and build smart deal strategies that result in positive outcomes for our clients and Gartner.
- Serve as a single point of contact for Sales to minimize functional handoffs and ensure requests are completed by set due time.
- Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of all requests and approvals in the CRM system.
- Utilize domain and subject‑matter experts, along with Deal Hub Leadership Team, as points of escalation for problematic requests or unknown technical solutions.
- Contribute to updating and revising the Deal Hub Playbook to ensure globally consistent processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
- 2–3 years’ experience in a business environment; Sales, Sales Support or Contracting experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships based on value‑add service and effectively interface in complex multi‑site business organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex requests clearly, concisely, and timely.
- Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to drive teamwork.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use active listening skills to understand Sales’ needs.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Siebel, SFDC, or Sugar (preferred).
