Our Global Business Sales Team supports private and public sector C‑level executives and leaders across all major functions and industries. This role focuses on expanding Gartner’s presence in the large enterprise segment by acquiring new clients and managing complex, high‑revenue sales cycles.
What You Will Do
- Seek out, develop, and close new business opportunities with large enterprise prospects (>$1 billion in annual revenue) across your territory.
- Convert viable prospects into active Gartner clients, owning the full sales conversation and negotiation.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high‑quality opportunities to meet or exceed sales metrics and key performance indicators.
- Manage complex sales across matrixed and diverse business environments, driving the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
- Own forecasting, account planning, and KPI tracking on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
What You Will Need
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within complex, intangible sales environments.
- Business development or new‑client acquisition experience in a selling role strongly desired.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience influencing and selling to C‑Level Executives.
- Strong forecasting and process management skills for complex sales.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree desired.
