We would be interested in receiving applications from candidates who would like to join our friendly, caring and supportive team. We are particularly looking for someone to work in our Reception class, supporting children with additional needs. However, a flexible approach and willingness to support children across the primary age range, individually, in small groups and providing whole class teaching assistant support is welcomed.

We were graded Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in February 2025 and have a culture of continual improvement. There is an ethos of mutual support and encouragement amongst staff, with a full induction programme offered as well as on-going training.
Hours are term time only. Up to 31hrs 15mins per week: 8.30am – 3.15pm. This is a temporary position for one year with the possibility of becoming permanent, depending on funding and need in the school. - Be a hard-working individual, prepared to support all children to be the best they can be
- Be able to use a variety of strategies to engage, support and motivate children in their learning
- Have an understanding of the Early Years curriculum, including phonics, and how to support children’s learning through play
- Have experience of successfully supporting children with additional needs, using a range of strategies to enable children to develop academically, emotionally, socially and behaviourally
- Have a desire to be involved in all aspects of school life
- Have a good standard of literacy, numeracy and IT skills
