We are looking to recruit a permanent Teaching Assistant with effect from 1st November 2026.

Crown Wood Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our existing team on a part-time, permanent basis. We are looking for versatile professionals who are able and willing to work across the whole primary setting.

1x Teaching Assistant

31.25 Hours p/w, term time only Grade: K-J Scale Points: 3-6

The post is for 31.25 hours (8.30am - 3.15pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch), term time only. The post will include lunchtime support. The post is available on a permanent basis subject to all relevant checks, referenced and successful probation period.

We are looking for someone who:

  • May have ambitions to qualify as a teacher in the future.
  • Good levels of literacy and numeracy.
  • Relevant qualifications and / or experience of working with children.
  • Keen to learn.
  • Flexible, resilient and resourceful.
