We are supporting Bracknell Forest schools to recruit volunteer School Governors. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a strategic role in supporting schools and improving outcomes for children and young people in your community.
About the Role
School Governors work with the Headteacher and governing board to:
- Support school improvement and monitor performance
- Hold leaders to account
- Oversee effective use of resources
- Promote pupil wellbeing, safety and inclusion
- Engage with parents, staff and the wider community
You may also take part in committees, panels, working groups and school visits.
