An exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic and caring Learning Support Assistant, who can work with our SEN Support Team to enhance the learning and progress of students within the school. Post required as soon as possible.

Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Anglican Academy (converter) which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievements and positive school ethos. The school has had five ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED reports, with Grade 1 across all areas, but we are not complacent. In addition to excellence in terms of academic outcomes, our purpose is to provide a supportive, stimulating and secure environment in which young people can thrive.

The role will be varied and interesting, working with students with a range of needs and across a number of subject areas.

The equivalent of GCSE Grade C, or above, in English and Maths is essential for this post. Previous experience of working with students aged 11-19 is desirable.

Ranelagh school has a clear focus on excellence, with the students at the heart of everything we do. It is expected that anyone joining the team will be able to fully support the unique ethos of the school.

Desired working pattern (some flexibility available for the right candidate): 33.5 hours per week, term time only: 3 x short days = 8.45am to 3.35pm including a 30-minute unpaid break and 2 x long days = 8.45am to 4.30pm including a 30-minute unpaid break.
