Essential Requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/Grade 4 or above (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working with children or young people is desirable.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and development.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive, flexible and proactive approach.
  • Someone who could potentially work in any area of our school (from 2 years to 11 years old).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the supervision and care of pupils, including those with special educational needs.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation.
  • Help maintain a clean, tidy and safe learning environment.
  • Engage children in purposeful play and physical activities.
  • Support pupils with their personal, social and emotional development.
  • Supervise and interact positively with pupils, encouraging good behaviour and positive social skills.
  • Assist in creating an environment where effective learning can take place.
  • Work in accordance with school policies and procedures.
  • Take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others.
