We are now looking for an exceptional Deputy Manager to join our talented front-of-house team and play a key role in the continued success of this much-loved Bermondsey Street institution.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting the running of a food-focused pub or restaurant and be passionate about delivering an outstanding, guest-first experience across both bar and dining spaces. You will have a strong understanding of the commercial and operational aspects of hospitality, including stock control, compliance, team development, and wider business performance, with the confidence to support BOH operations where required.

What we look for in a Deputy Manager:
- 2-3 years of working/managing in an AA Rosette or equivalent restaurant or high-end gastro food lead pub
- Have experience championing excellent service through delivering quality food
- Demonstrate a passion for leading, coaching and developing a team
- Be an active hands-on manager with excellent communication skills
- Be responsible and able to manage the FOH team rota, training and all health and safety effectively at all times
- Working alongside our General Manager & Head Chef, you will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to design and deliver new drinks and events
- Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills, necessary to maintain effective controls with regard to both GP and labour
- Have a pro-active approach to driving sales and delivering growth, through engagement with both kitchen and front of house teams
