The Garrison on Bermondsey Street is a true food lover’s destination. Featured in the Michelin Guide, we are proudly food-led, championing outstanding British seasonal ingredients and offering a daily fish counter showcasing the very best seafood from the British Isles.
We are now looking for an exceptional Bar Supervisor to join our talented front-of-house team and play a key role in the continued success of this much-loved Bermondsey Street institution. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of running a bar in a food-focused pub or restaurant and be passionate about delivering an outstanding, guest-first experience across both bar and dining spaces. You will have an understanding of the commercial and operational aspects of hospitality, including stock control, compliance, team development, and wider business performance, with the confidence to support BOH operations where required.

What we look for in a Bar Supervisor:
- Experience of working in an AA Rosette or equivalent restaurant or high-end gastro food lead pub
- Strong knowledge of wines, cocktails, spirits and beers
- Have experience championing excellent service through delivering quality food
- Demonstrate a passion for leading, coaching and developing a team
- Be an active hands-on supervisor with excellent communication skills
- Be responsible and able to manage the FOH team through coaching and training
- Working alongside our management team, you will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to design and deliver new drinks and events
- Have a pro-active approach to driving sales and delivering growth, through engagement with both kitchen and front of house teams
