Residential Conveyancing Assistant (Full-Time)
The successful candidate will assist with residential sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. They will be responsible for drafting legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements. The role involves ordering and reviewing property searches, liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors, managing case files using the firm’s case management system, handling telephone and email enquiries professionally, and assisting with SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications. The candidate must ensure compliance with firm and regulatory procedures.
We are seeking someone with some previous experience in residential conveyancing, strong administrative and organisational skills, excellent communication and client care abilities, and the capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems is essential. Audio typing experience is also desirable.
