Criminal Defence Solicitor

We are looking for a full-time solicitor to be on our Tameside duty rota and to work in the Greater Manchester area. The role will involve all aspects of criminal defence work from the Police Station through to the Court.

Responsibilities

• Representing clients at the police station (including being part of the out-of-hours rota).
• Conducting advocacy in the Magistrates Court.
• Being responsible for your own caseload.

Qualifications

• Police Station Accredited.
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines.
• The ability to cope under pressure.
