Responsibilities:
- Garnet Health Doctors is actively searching for a dynamic Gastroenterologist to join our dedicated team at our state-of-the-art facilities in Middletown and Harris.
- In this role, you will thrive in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, catering to a diverse and vibrant patient community.
- Full time position Monday through Friday 8:00 – 4:30 p.m. with 1:4 call schedule.
- Board-certified/board eligible.
- Advanced Practice Provider support.
- Core faculty opportunities within IM residency program.

- Competitive compensation is between $555,868 and $717,718 per year.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy.
- Residency trained in USA.
- Fellowship in Gastroenterology.
- Minimum Experience: Graduating from Gastroenterology Fellowship are welcome to apply.
- Certification/Registration Requirement: Active NY State Medical License.
- Board Eligibility/ Board Certification in Gastroenterology within 5 years of fellowship completion.
- DEA - NY State required.
- Infection Control - NY State Certified.
- BLS Certification Preferred.
- ACLS Certification Required.
- ECFMG required if applicable.
Physical Requirements:
- Stands, walks, sits intermittently throughout the day.
- Lifts, pushes, pulls light to heavy weights as required.
Working Conditions:
- Works in a clean, well-lighted, heated or ventilated facility. No routine exposure to hazards.
- Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks.
- Ability to lift 10 lbs.
Mental Demands:
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships, to work well under pressure, to organise and synthesise new information, and prioritise tasks.
- Possesses critical thinking, analytical skills and flexibility.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Required detailed attention to work in an environment where interruptions cannot be controlled.
- Demonstrates sensitivity to customer needs and expectations.
- May be subject to irregular hours including evenings or potentially weekends to participate in operational and community events as necessary.
