Responsibilities The Registered Nurse will implement the Nursing Process based on established Standards of Practice, adhere to all patient care policies, and ensure compliance with Garnet Health policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and New York State Licensure requirements. Critical thinking, effective organization, triage, prioritization, and evidence-based nursing are essential. Compensation and Benefits We offer a pay rate of $100.00 hourly. The compensation range complies with New York State law on salary transparency. The listed rate does not include bonuses, incentives, or other benefits. Factors such as location, experience, education, and credentials may influence compensation. Qualifications Minimum Education: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum Experience: 1 year medical-surgical experience required; experience in OPD/Amb. Surg./L&D considered. Certifications: Valid NY State RN license, BLS, cardiac rhythm course, Crisis Training, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, CCRN or CEN preferred. Physical and Working Conditions Position involves medium to light physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, and standing/walking most of the shift. Exposure to hazards such as blood, body fluids, chemicals, and infectious materials is possible. The role requires good visual, auditory, and manual dexterity, with the ability to work under pressure and handle irregular hours.
