Responsibilities
Nursing Assistant is a person who assists patients with healthcare needs, activities of daily living, and provides bedside care—including basic nursing procedures—all under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).

Salaries: The role offers an hourly range of $20.66 – $21.28. This range reflects market averages and does not include bonuses, incentives, or other compensation. Actual salary may vary based on several factors including experience, education, and internal considerations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Satisfactory completion of Nursing Assistant/Aide course; CNA certification preferred for all new hires as of June 1, 2007.
- BLS certification and EKG training/competency required before completing orientation and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Attend hospital crisis training within 3 months of hire or transfer and annually thereafter.
Physical Requirements
Position involves medium to light work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, and standing/walking for most of the shift. Communication skills are necessary.
