We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Management Surveyor to join our growing management team. This is a key role supporting the Lead Director in the management of a diverse commercial property portfolio, primarily across Yorkshire, with additional client instructions in the Midlands and North East.
You will take responsibility for your own portfolio, delivering day-to-day property management, service charge management, lease advisory, and oversight of maintenance and building works. The role combines office-based work with site inspections and regular liaison with clients, tenants, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Full day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio
- Service charge budgeting, monitoring, approvals and reporting
- Rent reviews and lease renewals, working closely with agency colleagues
- Managing maintenance, repairs and building works within budgets
- Ensuring statutory and lease compliance across the portfolio
- Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
About You
- MRICS qualified or working towards qualification
- Proven experience in commercial property management
- Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant matters
- Experience with rent reviews, lease renewals and property accounts
- Well organised, proactive and client-focused
