The Role
Primary purpose of this role is to help drive Garmin sales within Marine accounts to take sustainable and profitable market share and YOY growth.
The candidate should have a good understanding of the UK Marine Market ideally with some experience of Marine Sales. Experience with marine account management would be advantageous. Well-developed analytical skills including proficiency in Excel and power point would be a benefit.
The role would be to offer day to day management and support to various types of marine accounts, attend customer meetings as required, execute promotions, and ensure all opportunities are maximised supported by the Key Account Manager and Marine Sales Manager.
Be able to work to objectives and targets to enhance sales of Garmin products and services within a small team working closely with the Marketing team.
Education & Experience;
- Proven Sales experience, ideally with a marine or consumer background.
- Pro-active team player within the Sales and Marketing function.
- Ability to cultivate good working relationships with distributors and dealers to support ongoing sales relationships.
- Attention to detail, with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Proven technical aptitude with consumer/marine electronics
- Ability to travel on business domestically and internationally and work remotely as required
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite
- Boating/Sailing experience would be an advantage
- Full driving licence
