We are looking for an enthusiastic Midday Meals Supervisor (MMS) to join our team, supporting children at lunchtime. The role requires the supervision of, and interaction with, pupils across the school to ensure their wellbeing, safety and an enjoyable dining and lunchtime experience. The post is for 7.5 hours per week. You will be required to work from 12.00pm to 13.30pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time only (38 weeks per year).
The pay scale is set at KSA (£24,513 for a full-time post) with an actual salary of approximately £4,220 per annum.
Verification of qualifications will be required before employment can commence so please do not declare any qualifications unless you can produce the original certificate. A formal interview will take place with a panel comprising the MMS line manager and the Business Manager. The interviewee will also be asked questions relating to the safeguarding of children.
We are also committed to championing staff wellbeing and all employees can access free counselling, occupational health support and supervision sessions. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and a check against the ISA Barred List for Children, two satisfactory references and right to work in the UK documentation. All new employees to the school, including those with previous local government service, shall be subject to a 6 month probationary period. If you have not been contacted within 2 weeks of the closing date then you have not been shortlisted on this occasion.
