Following the continued growth of our Assure business, we are looking for an experienced Operations & Finance Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a varied operational role where you will become the financial heartbeat of our insurance operation, ensuring premium income, claims funding, commissions and insurer reporting are managed accurately and efficiently.

About the Role

You will take ownership of the day-to-day operational finance activities across our insurance products. Using our bespoke systems, you will manage high-volume financial transactions, dealership accounts, commission structures, trust account reconciliations and insurer reporting while helping ensure our processes remain accurate, compliant and commercially effective. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, problem solving and improving operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly insurer and dealership bordereaux, invoicing and commission statements.
  • Oversee premium collections and Direct Debit processing.
  • Perform credit control activities and resolve payment queries.
  • Reconcile premium and claims transactions.
  • Monitor claims funding and payment floats.
  • Validate commission payments and dealer financial allocations.
  • Prepare monthly financial information for the GardX Finance Team.
  • Produce operational reports and investigate financial discrepancies.
  • Support continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal departments, dealerships and insurer partners.

About You

You will have experience working within an insurance, broker, MGA, finance operations or financial administration environment and enjoy working with numbers and operational processes. You will ideally have experience of:

  • Insurance operations or financial administration
  • Credit control or ledger management
  • Reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Working with large volumes of transactional data
  • Learning bespoke software systems quickly
  • Working independently with excellent attention to detail

Knowledge of FCA Client Money (CASS) principles would be advantageous but is not essential if you have relevant insurance operations experience.
