We have a super opportunity for a vet surgeon to join this well-equipped purpose-built practice based in beautiful Cornwall not far from either coast. They have an amazing team who are highly supportive of each other and believe in treating every pet as their own and supporting the clients in every way we can.

Their main site is a purpose built building with four consult rooms, two operating theatres, imaging and dental suites along with a large prep area. They have the ISFM silver award (only missing out on the gold as they do not have their own out of hours) and are very cat friendly with a separate cat waiting area in reception and cat ward.

Their rolling rota allows for a great work/life balance which they feel is essential to allow time to enjoy the best things about living in idyllic Cornwall. This full-time position is based on a 4-day week and just 1 in 3 Saturday mornings along with no OOH.

They are looking for:

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
  • Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
  • Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills.
  • Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture.
  • Experience of supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency.
  • Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
