We are looking for a vet to join a lovely independent veterinary practice in Bexhill. The practice focuses on providing excellent standards of care to patients while creating a relaxed working environment where everyone feels part of the journey.
The purpose-built premises have fantastic facilities including separate cat and dog wards, digital X-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory. Accommodation is available for those who need assistance with relocation.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive full-time vet who is a team player with excellent communication skills. A part-time role can be considered, working at least 3 days a week. There are no out-of-hours duties as these are outsourced to Vets Now. Saturday mornings are requested (9am to 1pm) but the rota can be discussed to find a suitable arrangement.
The team consists of three RVNs, two receptionists, one animal care assistant and two administrative supporters. As an independent practice, you will have the autonomy to work up cases as you see fit, with protected time throughout the day for admin tasks, phone calls and lunch. Evening consults finish at 6.30pm and practice usually closes by 7pm.
The lead vet enjoys orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery and will mentor you in more complex surgeries. The practice encourages a supportive culture and regularly meets outside of work for meals and drinks.
