Help shape how people use technology. Technology is transforming the way legal services are delivered, and we're looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Systems Trainer to help our people make the most of it. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Technology Team and play a key role in developing colleagues' confidence and capability across our technology platforms. You'll design and deliver engaging training that enables people to work smarter, embrace new ways of working and get the very best from the systems they use every day. Whether you're delivering classroom sessions, creating digital learning resources or supporting colleagues through the rollout of new technology, you'll make a real difference to the way our firm works.
About the role
- Design and deliver engaging technology training for legal and business support teams.
- Lead induction and onboarding training for new employees and partners.
- Deliver training on our legal case management systems, Microsoft 365 applications and other business-critical technologies.
- Create high-quality learning resources, including user guides, videos, quick reference materials and e-learning content.
- Provide one-to-one coaching, workshops, virtual training and floor-walking support.
- Work alongside our Technology Team to support software upgrades, new system implementations and wider digital transformation projects.
- Identify training needs, evaluate learning outcomes and continuously improve our training offering.
- Champion best practice and help colleagues adopt new technology with confidence.
What you'll be working with
You'll have the opportunity to work with a broad range of technologies that support every part of our business, including:
- Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
- Our legal case management system (Partner for Windows).
- Bundledocs and other legal technology solutions.
- Document management and workflow systems.
- Telephony and collaboration platforms.
- Business applications used across our legal and business support teams.
- New and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, as we continue to invest in innovation and digital transformation.
No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to help shape how technology is adopted across the firm as new systems and capabilities are introduced.
About you
You'll be passionate about helping others learn and enjoy making technology accessible to people with varying levels of technical knowledge. We're looking for someone who has:
- A minimum of two years’ experience as a Systems Trainer, IT Trainer, Technology Trainer or in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience of designing and delivering engaging training using a variety of learning methods.
- Outstanding presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
- The ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently to non-technical audiences.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and a genuine commitment to providing an excellent user experience.
It would be advantageous if you have:
- Experience within a legal or professional services environment.
- Knowledge of legal case management systems such as Partner for Windows.
- Experience of Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning development or change management.
- Relevant Microsoft, learning and development or training qualifications.
