We have a new permanent opportunity for a full-time Senior Associate to join the Family Team in our Maidenhead office. We are looking for a talented and ambitious solicitor with a proven track record in business development who can hit the ground running and successfully contribute to our growth plans.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years PQE family law experience managing a varied and complex caseload.
The Role
- Manage a varied case load of divorce, separation, financial remedy, and children law matters as well as drafting pre-nuptial and living together agreements on behalf of privately funded clients.
- Contribute to the growth of the family law practice through business development initiatives and networking opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by offering personalised legal services, understanding their needs and providing clear communication throughout the legal process.
- Represent clients in family court proceedings, hearings and negotiations, demonstrating strong advocacy skills and legal acumen.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Firm to ensure an efficient and effective client service.
- Support the development and supervision of junior members of the team.
About you
- 5-8 years’ PQE in family law ideally.
- Proven business development skills – able to generate own pipeline.
- Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent team player with demonstrable ability to build effective and trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.
