We have a new permanent opportunity for a full-time Senior Commercial Lawyer to join the growing Business Team (Commercial, Corporate & Employment) in our Maidenhead office, as we continue to expand our geographical footprint.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4+ years’ PQE with significant previous commercial law experience. Working as part of a team and alongside the Head of Commercial, this role will involve undertaking a broad range of commercial work for businesses from start-ups and entrepreneurs, charities, SMEs and privately owned businesses, right through to UK subsidiaries of multi-nationals.
The role will include:
- Drafting all forms of commercial agreements and terms
- Creating bespoke agreements and licences
- Advising on IP and IT issues
- Providing advice and documentation on data protection
- Providing corporate support
- Keeping up to date with and looking for opportunities to advise on emerging technologies, such as the rapidly developing capabilities of AI and upcoming legislative changes
Provide full support to more senior members of the Business Team as well as other departments, such as Commercial Property, Employment, Charities, and Dispute Resolution. Attend and promote the team and firm at business networking opportunities and be dynamic in seeking new business relationships and leads. Support the development and supervision of junior members of the team.
