We’re excited to offer a permanent full-time opportunity for a talented Corporate Lawyer to join our growing Business Team (Commercial, Corporate & Employment), as we continue to expand our geographical reach and influence. We currently have a corporate lawyer opportunity: 3–5 PQE candidate, offering the chance to take the next step in their career. The Role
As a key member of our team, you’ll work closely with business owners, corporates and entrepreneurs, helping them navigate a diverse mix of company and corporate law work. You’ll work across an exciting mix of sectors such as IT, tech and life sciences, handling high‑quality corporate work including acquisitions and disposals, management buyouts, founder exits, shareholders’ agreements, joint ventures, investments from early stage to private equity, group reorganisations, governance matters and partnership agreements. You’ll take ownership of your own caseload, manage delegated work and play a key role in supporting senior members of the team. As the team continues to grow, this role offers real scope for progression, with opportunities tailored to your level and experience — whether that’s taking on greater responsibility or developing specialist areas of interest — and the chance to contribute to the future direction of the Business Team. You’ll also contribute to the team’s growth by promoting the firm at business development events and proactively building new relationships and leads. You’ll benefit from ongoing training, regular supervision, and access to senior mentors who will support your continued professional development and help you build a strong career within the firm.
About you
- 3-5 years’ PQE in corporate law ideally with a corporate law firm
- A proactive self‑starter with exceptional attention to detail
- Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- A strong team player who builds trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
- Confident client-facing with good business development skills
- Good presentation skills
- Skilled in analysis, negotiation and delivering clear, practical advice
- Ideally, experience or exposure to M&A and private equity work, appropriate to your level
