The Role

You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward‑thinking team working with a diverse range of clients – from ambitious start-ups and entrepreneurs to charities, SMEs and privately owned businesses, and UK subsidiaries of multi-nationals. Your work will be varied and stimulating, involving the drafting and negotiation of a broad range of commercial agreements and terms. You’ll benefit from ongoing training, regular supervision, and access to senior mentors who will support your continued professional development and help you build a strong career within the firm.

You will be required:

  • Build and manage your own caseload of matters while handling delegated work confidently
  • Provide high quality support to senior lawyers in the Business Team and collaborate across other departments, such as Commercial Property, Employment, Charities, and Dispute Resolution
  • Represent the firm at networking events, proactively building new relationships and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Help develop, mentor and support junior team members

About you

  • 3-5 years’ PQE in commercial law, ideally gained in private practice or in house
  • A proactive self‑starter with exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • A strong team player who builds trusted relationships with clients and colleagues

The firm operates a hybrid working model. The role will be office-based initially to support training, integration and relationship-building. Any hybrid working arrangement will only be considered once the successful candidate is fully embedded in the firm and role, and will be subject to ongoing business and client needs.
