The market leading structured products group of this elite global law firm is looking to recruit an associate around the NQ to 3 PQE level. Applicants will ideally have some structured products experience but those with international finance experience are also welcome to apply.
The role will involve working on all areas of a structured products offering from instruction through to post-closing. Work will involve producing initial drafts of agreements, negotiating structured product documents and ensuring a smooth process to transaction close.
Legislation which the group most often encounters includes retail regulation, ESG guidelines, benchmark regulation, prospectus regulation, and ISDA derivatives definitions. The team provide in depth training on all of this. It is a friendly and supportive team that greatly enjoys its work and the close client relationships they have. Clients include many of the top tier investment banks and secondments to these are regularly offered.
