Overview
A leading US law firm is seeking to expand its highly regarded Financial Services Regulatory practice with the addition of a talented Associate (2–4 PQE) in London. With a large and long-established office, London serves as a key hub for the firm's international practices.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a first-class team advising an impressive client base of investment managers, private funds and other financial institutions on a broad range of complex, non-contentious UK and EU financial services regulatory matters. The role offers exposure to sophisticated cross-border mandates, working closely with colleagues across multiple international offices.
Responsibilities
- Advise on the full spectrum of UK and EU financial services regulation, with particular emphasis on FCA and PRA regulatory regimes, FSMA, MiFID II and related frameworks.
- Support cross-border financial services regulatory matters and collaborate with colleagues across international offices.
- Contribute to client service delivery on non-contentious regulatory matters across investment managers, private funds and other financial institutions.
Qualifications
- 2–4 PQE in financial services regulatory practice or equivalent, with strong experience in UK and EU regimes.
- Demonstrated expertise in FCA and PRA regulatory regimes, FSMA, MiFID II and related legislation.
- Strong analytical, communication and collaborative skills suitable for a high-performing US firm.
